Floor smell in shed
by: Alan

I built a summer house on some decking at the bottom of the garden and before the deck was built I put a weed suppressant covering down, however, 18 months on I get an earthy mouldy smell that's constant in the shed!!!! Any ideas to stop it would be great thank you in advance.

Seal around Wooden shed
by: Steve in California

John,

I have a 10 x 10 shed on a 12 x 12 slab. No sealant was applied under the base when erected and there is a one-foot apron around the shed. My attempts at using silicone sealant have not been completely successful. The silicone sealant is shrinking as well over time. What would you advise to better stop the seepage of water into my shed? I live in the high desert and temps exceed 100 F. Would grinding a slope into the apron be an option?
