I wish I could give this 0 stars. It is so cheaply made that if you look at it wrong it will bend. It took 3 people with construction experience 3 full days to put together. Even when everything was completely squared up most of the holes did not line up. A lot of the bolts in the ceiling are where you can't even get to them to put nuts on them. The roof alone took an entire day. You better have someone with very long arms to reach across the top of the roof to put screws in place.

Good Shed for the Price
by: Anonymous.

I built one of Arrow's 8x10 sheds ten years ago in the yard, built a nice wood platform to put it on. Been standing for ten years now, we are in most northern Montana, several years we got quite a bit of snow, several times this shed has had six to eight inches of snow load at one time, of course we get the snow off as soon as we get the chance, don't leave it on to get deeper, but the shed has held up flawlessly, with all that snow on it, I can say you can see the doors spread a little at the bottom, indicating some downward force from all the snow weight, but the shed has done a fantastic job for us, now putting up the Arrow lx1014 shed, not done yet, but so far with all the walls put up and ready to work on the roof, for the most part, instructions have been pretty good, the only complaint I have is the so called bolts are not very strong, did break a few of them tightening them up on the frame parts, just don't tighten them real tight or they will break. Again this new shed has a nice square level floor made of 2x8 wood with 3/4" tonged and groove plywood. I think this shed will probably outlast the rest of my life barring some sort of serious natural disaster. I would highly recommend Arrow sheds to anyone.

JUNK !!!!!!
by: Cali

What a piece of junk !! Lindale 10x14. First of all false advertising, it's only 13 x 9.7. Arrow shed should be ashamed. Directions are horrible, Quality is worse, Assembly is so bad I just wanted to stop take it apart and send it back. If you take pride in your work, you will hate this piece of junk!!!!!

DO NOT BUY THESE SHEDS!!!!!!
by: Anonymous

Purchased a 10 X 10 shed from Arrow Sheds in October of 2014. During the assembly process the holes did not line up as they were supposed to. I had to drill new holes in order to put this shed together. Once together I put some stuff in the shed for storage for the winter. Since I live in Central New York I know the winters can be harsh. I kept the roof cleaned off as best as I could. I got up one morning after a night of snowfall (we got probably 3 inches of new snow), to see that the roof had collapsed. After spending 2 days trying to contact Arrow Sheds, I finally got ahold of a supervisor. I was told they would replace the roof or send me a new shed. All I would have to do is pay 120 bucks for shipping. This shed is less than 5 months old. I will never buy another shed from this company and will tell everyone I can to never buy one. This company is a JOKE!!!!

arrow shed
by: Jinx

I've built 3 arrow sheds over the last 20 years here in S Florida. Yes they are not thick metal, but that's not what you paid for! Been thru three hurricanes and they still stand. Rust is the only real problem. water splash from the ground will rot the base till you have to replace the whole thing. Setting cinder blocks in the ground and 4x4's on top, lifts the shed up off the ground and eliminates all problems with base rust. 4x4's secured to the blocks with bolts/cement and the shed screwed to the 4x4's every 16 in or so results in something pretty windproof.

I have since built something substantial. The buildER has no problem.

This is a means of reviewing a product, not a personal slander effort. Ed S, take a course on class.

What a waste!!
by: Ed S

In my opinion it's totally ridiculous to destroy something in this manner, and makes it obvious that the problem lies in the buildER, not the buildING.

Have built that same LX1014 & found it to be pure simplicity to assemble.

Arrow Lindale a good experience
by: Chaz D.

I've built two of these now and I am not sure why people complain so much. The difficulties I had were minor and due to my not reading the instructions correctly or not following them. The only real issue I have found is sealing the roof. The first shed came with a sort of duct tape which could not hold up to AZ heat. Arrow was nice and sent me more, but I just put up with a few drips here and there. The other leaks I had in the first one were due to over tightening/squashing the plastic washers. There are not many extras, but when Arrow sent the extra tape they also sent a bunch of extra washers.

So then I moved and again needed more storage fast. I got another kit and put it up. This one came with a thin aluminum tape to seal the roof. Unfortunately it is so thin it tears too easily. Knowing this was going to be an issue I bought some Gorilla tape and used that over the aluminum tape that came with the kit. I also was meticulous in checking each washer before moving on. Had a good rain and not one leak.

With both of these sheds I thought it would be a lot easier to lay the wooden floor prior to assembly. Although I got lucky and everything went smoothly on the first. I ran into problems on the second. I poured some 1' x 1' concrete sections to support the shed. Apparently on the first everything was perfect but I had one about 1/4" too high in the middle of one side. I managed, with a bit of hammering and drilling some new hole to make everything work, but I would not recommend trying this. With the wood flooring kit you have to bolt the base frame down tight before laying the plywood. If it is not perfectly level the base will conform to the shape and the pieces are not going to fit right. But that was my fault. It will be harder to get the floor together after the shed is built, but the little extra time it will take is worth it. With the base frame not bolted down everything will flex a bit and make assembly of the shed much easier.

Although my wife is not very mechanically incline and easy to tire, we managed to get the second shed completed in two days. The first went up in one with the help of a buddy and both our wives.

The first shed is now about 8 years old and still looks brand new. They really seem to stand up to the weather. Not one speck of rust.

So from my experience there is only one real issue with the kit, leaking. And that is easily fixed by making sure you don't crush the washers and adding some gorilla tape to the ridge and gable gaps in the roof. Just follow the instructions and all should be fine.

8' x 6' Arrow Hamlet building
by: Bob

I have not started the dreaded process of construction yet because I just found out that I had to buy an additional sheet of 5/8" Plywood to get and additional 1 1/2" of width to make 97 1/2" for the width.

Poor design before it ever gets started.

Was bitched at by customer no-service before because I did not call them before buying the building and she finally hung up on me. Their bill of materials in the owners manual & assembly instructions leaves a lot to be desired.

keep it level and square
by: Menk

I just finished building my second one.

The first was at my father-in-laws house. He did not get his site level (close, but still wasn't) and didn't get the floor frame square before building it. We had a lot of issues getting holes to line up, got very frustrated, and I'm sure we cursed a lot.

The second one was in my yard. I had a gravel base that I spent a lot time on to make sure it was level. Made sure floor frame was square. Holes lined up great and was pretty to easy to setup.

Tips: To make it as efficient as possible 3-4 people would be great. At the beginning, have one person start putting the side, rear and front rails and rafters together, one put the floor frame together, and one start adding washers to the screws.

Once the floor frame is done, have the two that were working on the floor frame and screws start putting up the corner wall pieces. Hopefully the wall rails will be ready when the others are ready to add all the panels.

After all the rails/rafters are put together, start on the gables and have the 4th person put washers on the screws/bolts.

I had triple bypass so now i had to get a landscaper ,i cant get nothing out out of the dam shed . can i by replacement rafter and doors or would arrow replace them because of their big name?

Shed? No problem
by: Anonymous

This shed takes patience!

Me and hubby started building this shed at 10am and did not finish it till 9pm at night. Don't attempt to put his shed up on a windy day. It takes 3 people to put it up efficiently one person to do the drilling another person to help you hold the pieces in place and another to be the runner "hey Joe i need eight screws with them plasic washers and 3 bolts with washers please!"

In my opinion It depends on the climate for installing this shed in your yard. If it's blistering hot in the summer and you don't want to walk into an oven, get wood! We put a Solar patio light in it so we could see well in it.

All you need is a big breakfast a cup of coffee at the ready and patience.

wow
by: Anonymous

I've helped a buddy of mine build one and we've built one at my house and I had no problems. Yes we had to use screw drivers to get all the holes to line up and yes it took all day to assemble. But it sure beats paying almost $2000 for a pre-built shed if your on a tight budget. I will eventually tear mine down and have a nice shed but for now it works just fine.

Arrow sheds
by: Joey

You know what, he is right. Shame on you Arrow for that crap of a product. I have a similar one model # LW1012-A1 and that is the worst thing I have ever seen. Me too, did not finish construction of mine, became frustrated and it got strowed through the yard for the dogs to p*** on. Shame on you Arrow.
