Shed flooring on a concrete slab

by Patricia
(Normandy, France)

We have a ready-built shed (see pic), in a log-cabin style, made from 29mm fir plank.

It is placed on a level concrete foundation. On top of the concrete is a damp-proof membrane, but the shed itself has no floor. We want to use the shed as a summer house rather than as a potting shed, and it will need to be easy to clean, but we can't afford to lose much head height.

As a floor, we are thinking to lay exterior-grade plywood sheet, with a quarter-inch air gap all around to keep it away from the walls, and then tile on top of this with ceramic tile. Would this work or should we think of using some other system?

Many thanks for your help. Trish :)
