Tiger Wooden Garden Sheds

by Dan Isaacs
(UK)

We are a UK based manufacturer and online retailer of wooden garden sheds, log cabins, playhouses, metal sheds and more.

All of the products on our site have detailed descriptions and have a picture/diagram of every feature and every section of the structures.

Our friendly installation team will help you assemble any garden building and will give you advice on security and maintenance.

We offer large discounts and FREE UK delivery on our sheds and log cabins.

Tiger sheds are pretty strong and to this end did a bit of an impromptu and unusual test on one of their sheds. They got ex-England and Manchester footballer Lee Sharpe to kick footballs at a Tiger shed and one of a competing brand until it disintegrated. You can see the results here.

Same level of service as below
by: Anonymous

Yep I too have waited over a month for my shed to arrive, they are very friendly when you call but its a bit like the sheds are made in a 'magical place' and no one knows when it will be ready. Probably done to stop you cancelling your order when you cannot get it within 10days as "unashamedly promised".

Good sheds I believe poor delivery.

Rude, arrogant lack of customer service
by: Anonymous

I've posted this before, but these guys are the limit. I've never been treated this badly, as a customer, before.

I bought a shed from them almost 2 months ago now, and getting it delivered has been stressful to say the least. They unashamedly feature '8-10 days' delivery time on their site, however I was left waiting for close to a month.

This wouldn't have bothered me, however when they finally called me with a delivery date, I was out of the country and wouldn't be back in time. The level of arrogance, general rudeness and complete lack of customer service demonstrated during the further conversations I had (mostly with a guy called Jack) was beyond belief.

In Jack's opinion, the fact their (now late) delivery slot wasn't convenient to me was entirely my problem. He patronisingly lectured me on not understanding the problems they have with logistics, as if this is somehow the customer's problem! He gave the impression that I was being almost absurd in my request for definite delivery date - showing absolutely no understanding of my concerns. I had to push them to commit to a 2 week window in which they 'might' deliver it. He was particularly quick to cite the 'small print' that the delivery date was an indication only (and looking at other people's experiences, one they rarely stick to).

Jack proudly pointed out how accommodating they were with their specific delivery window 'between 11am - 1pm'. So what happened on delivery day (almost 2 months later now)? Yep - they call me up saying they couldn't deliver till 3pm, by which time there would be no-one at the house to receive the shed. Again I spoke to Jack - completely un-apologetic about their mistake (and their driver told me it WAS their mistake), again arrogantly lectured on reading the small print. I was told I had to be there, or I'd have to pay a re-delivery fee - no concession at all to the fact they'd messed up.

I was left with no option other than to abandon a training course I was on (taking another employee with me), in order to get back home. A massively stressful experience.

The driver, on the other-hand, was both polite and apologetic. If his boss had taken a similar attitude, I might not have been left with such a sour taste in my mouth.

Tigersheds clearly spend a lot of money on marketing (all over the web) and I don't think their product is bad (yet to see) but their attitude to their customers is appalling, and I'd happily pay £100 more and get better customer service.

Hope this helps someone in future.
