The Dog Shed - Oscars Kennel

by Andy Walters
(UK)

Hi,

My Golden Retriever 'Oscar' lives outdoors in the daytime and to keep him warm and dry I bought an 8x6 pent shed which he loves.
The shed was fitted with a stable door and the addition of lighting, tubular heater and a radio keeps him almost happy.
Our problem is that when there is rain, we are able to keep the top door closed and the base door ajar supported by bricks either side. This leaves a gap for his access/egress and a V-shaped gaps between the closed door and the door ajar.
The rain in the wrong direction blows in through the gap and I need to put a cover there to keep the kennel and sometimes Oscar drier.
I have tried hanging shower curtains from there and securing them but he loves nothing more than playing the role of Psycho by the time I get home.
Is there anyone out there that can help me come up with a design I can fit over the gap.
As soon as I can I will send in a diagram or pic.

Many Thanks,

Oscar's Dad
