Shed Damp Proof Membrane & Floor Insulation

by Clifford f Cheeseman

Thank you John and Greenboy for answering my previous query on shed roof.

I have another small problem

I am building a small workshop 8x12 in a garden that has a high level of clay.

The ground is wet much of the year.

I have set concrete blocks on edge in cement to the perimeter and intend to remove the soil(clay!)from the interior. I wish to backfill with paving slabs dry laid on sharp sand and mount the workshop walls on the concrete blocks.

I also wish to lay a damp proof membrane and include a 50mm polystyrene insulation within the build of the floor.

My question is: In what order do I lay/install the DPM and polystyrene insulation?

I would be grateful if anyone could advise me.

I have added a plan of the foundation
