Pod-Shed - Organic Space for Organic Landscape

The Pod-Shed is a contemporary space that is unlike other sheds. It can be used as many different uses including a quiet retreat
from the pressures and stress of the home, a family space to enjoy the garden or a place of work.

The Pod-Shed can be enjoyed at day or night and uses solar panels to light the porch at night and a wood burning stove provides warmth and comfort.
The Pod-Shed’s open porch provides a genuine connection to the garden. This is enhanced by it’s organic curves and natural wood materials

Absolutely brilliant

Truly an absolutely great design. This is more than a shed, its a better quality of living. The structural perfection is matched only by it's own unique and modern elegance. This design utilizes natural renewable materials as well as solar power which is great in todays growing "green" focused society. I would be proud (and privileged) to own such a great piece of architectural brilliance. This is my pick for sure. 5 Stars all the way!

Modern Art

This design is very sleek and sexy modern. Great use of eco friendly design ideas. I agree with the designer that the large glass front of the shed creates a connection with the garden with an illusion of being in the garden without any barriers. The design is also very minimalistic and calming by it being so simple. With our hectic lives nowadays this would be a wonderful retreat to have. I love the twist and diversion from the concept of a traditional ‘shed.’ This is definitely ‘thinking out of the pod’ with this simple home away from home just meters away from each other.

Pre Fab?

This is cool idea for a shed. Its really shifting from a utilatarian purpose to a livable space. My question is, is this project something that would be a pre fab construction? Something that could be placed in anyones yard?

And also, do you think people would opt for something like this over say upgrading or renovating their existing patios. Or is this project aimed more towards those who dont have that opportunity?

Really nice design concept. Can imagine it being trucked or picked up by a helicopter and transported to a very remote location as a retreat get away in nature... Nice graphic presentation, too bad it is so small. I want to be able to zoom in...

That's very sleek. Calming design... Could imagine a can or two of cider in the setting sun after a hard days slig at the lotty.
