NOT A BOX

by Fernando

This garden-office shed is designed to create an interior space and exterior image that are contemporary and innovative, to provide adequate work-space with little square footage and to sit well at a typical location at the corner of a back yard. It’s built using wood-frame construction and includes a built-in desk.

BE CAREFUL
by: SAMUEL

HOPE YOU TOOK NOTE OF THE EXISTING BUILDINGS AROUND WHERE YOU ARE LOCATING THIS PROJECT SO AS AVOID THE CONCEPT OF VIRSUAL POLLUTION THAT SOME CONTEMPRARY ARCHITECTS DO IN OTHER TO SHOWCASE HOW ABSTRACT AND INNOVATIVE THEY ARE IN THEIR DESIGN.
ALSO MIND THE KIND OF SHAPE YOU USED INODER TO AVOID DEAD ANGLES THAT ARE NOT NEEDED IN A GIVEN SPACE ALL IN THE NAME OF COMING UP WITH GOOD DESIGN OR SHAPE.

It is nice it is made in wood
by: Alice Levina

however, I am not really fond of the shape. It looks agressive. It is not really in harmony with the garden. A lighter color would be better as well. I usually like contemporary architecture, I am a big fan of the Musee des Arts Permiers in Paris for instance :) I love the Gerkin as well :)

The shed looks very interesting and innovative from a creative perspective. In relation to its practical side, it might need some adjustment on the internal space available, but in overall this shed is very good.

Wonderfully executed!

Hi, just linked here via your gumtree posting.

I think your design is great, very striking.

I'm a huge fan of the 'great British' garden shed, from a philosophical and heritage perspective. Its a unique kind of architecture and a tradition well worth preserving!

I use to work for the Uk designer Wayne Hemingway many years ago, and its a niche he's very interested in. Check out his sheds now in production:

great work! I hope your idea sees commercial light!

Kind Regards,

Approach
by: BY

A shed of this size, budget and location is, by far, what most people choose to build or buy (and there are very good reasons for this). Working with all these constraints and still trying to provide an innovative formal and spatial solution is what I consider the most interesting approach.

somewhat crude

a little formally disturbing, not much material consideration
