My Eco Friendly Shed

My Eco Shed was built out of need, my children had so many toys that my garage was overrun with them. I needed a shed that I could store their toys in, and have space for my gardening supplies. I wanted to make sure that the shed that I was building would be friendly to the environment.
When I began my research. I was lucky enough to know of a building that was being torn down. I spoke with the project manager and was able to buy the wood floors, windows doors and even some other wood that was used in turn to build my shed. In addition, instead of lights I was able to obtain three sky lights that were placed in the roof of the shed. With the windows on every wall, and sky lights I was able to eliminate the need for electricity to be run to the shed.
In addition I was able to place flower boxes under the windows and used eco-friendly paint to paint the boxes, the roof is my favourite part, I have a tin roof, I got the tin from the same building that the doors and flooring came from.
I was able to create a lovely shed that fits all my needs, is visually pleasing to the eye and does not require the need to cut down tons of trees. 90% of the building material used in the shed was recycled from buildings in town and were remnants from other building projects.
