Door hardware for cedar shed

We're building a cedar garden shed and standard door knobs will not fit due to the thickness of the cedar door. What Type of door handle/knob do you recommend?This is going to be a nice-looking shed to enhance our property so I want these finishing touches to be in keeping with the "charming" shed.
