Backyard Builders

Backyard Builders is a part-time shed building company. We are in our second season and just completed our forty-fifth building here in the Houston area.

We build anywhere from 8x8 all the way to 16x32. Our designs include gambrels and gables.

The idea for Backyard Builders began when I started a "construction club" at my school because the traditional woodshop class was cut for financial reasons. Today we've taught 10-12 male students a little about construction and paid them more than they could ever make flipping hamburgers. We even have two that are in college now.

It's the greatest situation in the world. I get paid to do something I love and help people in the process. What could be better?
