Architect's garden studio

This shed is designed as a place that allows a young architect to enjoy working on various projects, a place that is more than just a garden office...it is a place for work, hobbies, fun, relaxing, reading, connecting to surrounding nature,...and due to its contemporary form and solar panels-an architectural statement as well.

It is a shed that represents a sanctuary for architecture, an inspirational and motivational place for an architect, and a storage for all kinds of architect's tools, books, magazines, photographies and similar stuff. It is a place that gives you the opportunity to concentrate on your projects, your creativity and your inspiration and to escape from everyday stresses.

No one uses vertical walls anymore?

I guess all the solar panels are needed to provide electric lights...because the design lacks enough windows to provide decent natural light...Nothing east and west and north is heavily eaved..south windows are very small for the space...it will be like a cave inside.

It's a pity you have such small windows facing south (I guess it is south as it is where your solar panels are oriented) and only very small openings on east and west.. which means not a lot of natural light..

So, this is the best shed to me, because it is designed to be useful, and it looks nice and kinda cute. But it doesen't look very agressive like other sheds so I would like to have it in my backyard.

i do not understand why the walls need to be angled, what is this choice for? does it help with structure, shading, or construction, or just for form?? this seems to be a problem with most school students etc...

This shed is so minimalistic beautiful! His got everything that need. Buy the way, it`s not to pushy in the way of art and design! And I like it very much. This is creation of someone who knows the meaning of sustanabille life! My vote goes to this work!

i like the folding shape aspect that this shed is designed with.. i am curious what direction the shed faces though, how does the suns rays affect the shading and can rain hit the interior wall under the roof? also, the connection from the interior of the shed to the exterior is weak, only four square windows? i think the exterior is much more successful than the interior.

this is an interesting form for a shed - i appreciate the enclosed shelter in addition to the patio outside - the only weakness in the design i see is that there is a lack of consideration for the construction and materialilty - also, what does the inside look like? nice renderings by the way...
