Shed Building Monthly

Issue 41 - September 2012

Welcome to Shed Building Monthly

Hi,

Welcome to the September issue of Shed Building Monthly.

The evenings are getting darker, the mornings are getting crisper and colder. If you spend any length of time in your shed you will have thought about ways of keeping it warmer.

One way of warding of the cold and keeping your heating bills down is to insulate the shed to reduce heat loss. My pal Simon from Tunbridge Wells wrote and sent some pictures of his shed insulation project in.

The project was completed over the summer. Simon kept a close track of his heating costs before upgrading the insulation and has some quite interesting predictions as to how much it will save in the coming years.

Do you have any tips or reviews on shed heating sources that you have used?

It would be great to use some of your feedback in a future article on the best shed heating techniques from around the world.

Until then see you next month

John

The plans mentioned in the previous issue are still available.

They have advice on everything from the initial planning process and how to make sure that you are not breaking the law, to ordering materials and detailed step by step instructions to make sure that you know exactly what you are building before you start.
