Shed Building Monthly

Issue 25 - November 2010

Welcome to the November edition of Shed Building Monthly.

Thank you to everyone who contacted me after last monthís newsletter. I have exchanged e-mails and had very informative telephone conversations with lots of you. Arranging time for the interviews, e-mailing etc is quite time consuming so if I havenít got back to you yet, I will be soon!

Two things that impressed me about the projects that readers contacted me with were:
i)The hard work that is put in to planning and building their sheds
ii)The huge variety of projects that are undertaken.

Thereís lots more interviews and project reviews to come in future issues but this month we start with David Ford.
David purchased a pre-made Amdega Summerhouse many years ago and enjoyed using it immensely as a retreat and also for entertaining friends. Davidís only regret was that he had not built it himself, from scratch, so when David retired 6 months ago one of his first projects was to address this by planning and building a storage shed to free up space in his garage, which he intends to use as a workshop

Don Lemna also wrote in from Medicine Hat in Alberta, Canada.
Find out why the message of this shed build was to focus on planning the project down to the tiniest of details.

Finally I will be re-contacting with many of those who wrote in last month. If you have just finished your project or want to record your project to date I will be creating a space shortly where you can show off your project and share the lessons that you have learned.

Back next month with more shed projects and reviews and also an interesting shed Christmas present for the shed builder who has everything!!!

All the best.

PS. Please forward this e-mail to your friends/family who may be interested in building a shed or even just great shed architecture!
